We have some great events coming up for this year. Take a look at what’s coming up:
IndyCC – It’s an amazing conference in Indianapolis right after Christmas. Listen to great speakers, learn about amazing opportunities, and have a blast!
SALT Conference 2011 – SALT Movement hosts the South Asian Leadership Training conference every year. It’s a great place to connect with other South Asians students.
Big Break – We’ll be heading to the beach during your spring break–in FLORIDA!! We’ll learn a lot from the Word and get a chance to share our faith with others.
The SALT Movement Student Leaders Summit was August 28 in Chicago. Student leaders at UIC, NIU, OSU, and U of M meet to share plans, pray for one another, share ideas, and gain vision for leading our movements.
Thanks to MaKenzie Frank for taking the picture.
Summer project offers the opportunity for students to take the good news of forgiveness in Jesus to virtually anywhere in the world with Campus Crusade for Christ so ultimately everyone will know someone who truly follows Jesus! Every summer, thousands of college students from all over the world choose to spend their summer in community with one another as they take the message of Jesus to hundreds of cities, campuses and communities in the US and all over the world. The Summer Project experience ranges in possibility from doing campus ministry to working with AIDS orphans; from working with artists in NYC to medical missions opportunities; from working with inner-city kids to sharing your faith on a beach! Summer Project experiences vary in length from one week to ten!
SALT Movement’s partnership location is the Gateway Summer Project.
Break is a one-week mission experience that gathers students from colleges and universities from all over the country in Panama City Beach, Florida. Spend the week growing in your walk with God, exploring biblical truths and learning how to talk to your friends about your faith.”

SALT Movement hosted the third annual SALT conference in February 2010. SALT Movement seeks to reach this generation of South Asian American students with the Gospel and encourage them to walk by faith, communicate their faith and multiply their faith.
SALT conferences are centered around Campus Crusade for Christ’s DNA: Win, Build, Send. The first conference was about how we are compelled by Christ’s love to share Christ. The second was about how Christ has qualified believers for the ministries He calls us into. SALT 2010 explored how Christ desires to send South Asian American students to reach their community, their nation, and their world for Christ.
We heared from Jake Abraham on the theme of “Here I am. Send me.” Jake is on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ and works at the international headquarters in Orlando, FL.
The conference was February 26-27, 2010 at the Holiday Inn Rolling Meadows.
